Woman puts her 4-month-old grandson’s face on hot charcoal after her son disobeyed her to marry a girl she despises
A woman has allegedly placed the beautiful face of her grandchild on a hot charcoal after her son disobeyed her to marry a girl she never wanted.
PARADISE NEWS learnt that the terrible incident occurred in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau state in North Central Nigeria.
Narrating the story, a Journalist with Unity FM 93.3, Jos, Mr. Bello Lukman, took to his Facebook page on Monday (June 22, 2020) and wrote:
“Patience and Wang both live in Fan District in Barkin Ladi local government area of Plateau state.
“They love each other and vowed to live together as husband and wife. Unfortunately for them, Wang’s mother did not want her to marry her son. She also said she won’t forgive anybody that facilitates the wedding.
“The two love birds defied her warning and got married in October 2018 and by July 2019, they had their first child. They named him Choji.
“Regrettably, Wang’s mother again refused to go and help bath her grandson three weeks after delivery according to Patience. She was prevailed upon and she reluctantly agreed. She bathed Choji for some few days but stopped again telling Patience to learn how to bath her son.
“On August 23 2019, Mama again refused to bath Choji. Patience breast fed her baby, got charcoal, lit up fire to warm the cold room and placed the baby on the bed in her room wrapped inside a blanket to go get hot water outside to bath Choji.
“She left her mother in law in the other room as they were the only two at home. Surprisingly, she was still outside when she started perceiving an offensive odour coming from her room. On getting there, she saw a gruesome sight. Her four weeks old son was placed facedown on the charcoal fire. The boy’s cap and blanket was still on the bed.
“Choji was rushed to Bingham hospital and according to Patience, her mother in law did not visit them at the hospital four months after the incident. She only visited four months after the ugly incident despite the fact that she was the only one at home on the day of the incident.
“Luckily for them, their N700,035 bill was paid for by Josie Camiola a white woman. The boy’s disfigured face is however still there.
“Can we get justice for Choji? Who disfigured Choji’s face please?”
