Gov’t sets ablaze house of kidnapper of ex-DSS Director in Calabar

As the manhunt for Kidnappers in Calabar, Cross River State capital continues, the House belonging to one kidnapper, Edet Effiong Nyong, has been set ablaze.

According to George Odok Jnr, NAN Defence Correspondent, on Facebook, the team, led by the State Security Adviser, South, Mr Ani Esin alongside DSS, Anti-Cultism and Kidnapping Squad and other stakeholders set ablaze the building of Edet at Esiere Ebom, close to the Calabar beach market today, Saturday, June 20, 2020.

“Security reports has it that Edet was responsible for the kidnap of the father of the former Director of DSS and he was also the brain behind the kidnapped of a relative of the former deputy Governor of Cross River, Barr. Efiok Cobham.

“He was released from correctional centre last year and thereafter, he went into kidnapping again”, Odok wrote.
